Delhi Court Holiday Calendar

2026: 39 days on which the Delhi courts are closed — 29 gazetted (national and festival) holidays and 10 local holidays , including 5 declared by later notification and not printed on the calendar , plus the court vacations. Dates are shown as DD.MM.YYYY.

Weekly closures. All Sundays and second Saturdays have been shown in red colour. Local holidays i.e. falling on 6th Mar, 22nd & 23rd Oct & 13th Nov, as shown in red squares, will be observed exclusively by the High Court. 2nd Jan, 5th Mar, 21st Oct, 7th, 10th & 12th Nov will be observed as Local Holidays by the High Court as well as the Courts Subordinate to it.

Fourth Saturdays are NOT listed as holidays for 2026 (they were in 2024 and 2025). Notification No. 38/I-G-4/Genl.-I/DHC dated 04.10.2025 lists only 'All Sundays - 52' and 'Second Saturdays - 12' for the High Court.
